For this assignment, we were asked to imitate the work of a photography master. We could copy their pictures exactly or just copying their style. Lucky, I had a work related tripped planned to San Diego for the weekend. I knew I needed to take the pictures over their or I would run out of time, so I started looking for famous urban, street, or architecture photographers. I ended up choosing Cameron R. Neilson. Specifically, his Straight Up series. His images fascinated me and I just loved them. It’s such a unique perspective. We all look up but we don't usually look straight up so it was fun to explore the city with that in mind.
His Pictures.
